The game started off with Minnesota taking an early lead, scoring a touchdown on their opening drive. However, Penn State responded quickly with a touchdown of their own, tying the game at 7-7.

Penn State then ran out the clock to secure the victory, sending the Nittany Lions to the postseason with a 9-3 record. The win also marks Penn State's fourth victory in a row and their first win over Minnesota since 2019.

Quarterback Sean Clifford led the way offensively for Penn State, completing 20 of 30 passes for 249 yards and a touchdown. Running back Nick Singleton added 108 rushing yards on 14 carries, while wide receiver Parker Washington led all receivers with 89 yards on seven catches.

On the defensive side of the ball, cornerback Alontae Taylor had a key interception in the first half, while safety Ji'Ayir Brown recorded a game-high 10 tackles. The defense also forced four sacks on Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan.

The win over Minnesota was a crucial one for Penn State, as it secures their spot in the postseason and gives them a chance to build momentum heading into bowl season. The Nittany Lions will now await their bowl assignment, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
