3. Once the coals are white hot, blow off any loose ash and lay the steaks down.
4. Cook the steak directly on the coals for roughly 4 minutes per side for a 1 ½” steak.
5. Turn the steak 90° halfway through cooking one side.
6. Remove the steak from coals, stir coal bed so fresh coals are facing up.
