Chad Johnson: Florida State Could Lose to FAMU Right Now

Former NFL star Chad Johnson criticized Florida State football after the team's recent loss to ACC rival Clemson. Former NFL star Chad Johnson has expressed his disappointment with the current state of Florida State football. In a recent interview with ESPN, Johnson said that the Seminoles are struggling in all aspects of the game and could face a tough challenge from FCS opponent FAMU in the upcoming season opener.

"They don't have any playmakers on offense," Johnson said. "Their defense is terrible. I don't see how they can win a game right now."

Johnson's comments come after Florida State's 35-14 loss to ACC rival Clemson on Saturday. The Seminoles were outplayed in all phases of the game, and Johnson said that their performance was "embarrassing."

"I'm tired of seeing Florida State get embarrassed," Johnson said. "I'm tired of seeing them lose to teams they should be beating. It's time for a change."

Johnson, who played for the Seminoles from 2001-04, said that the team has lost its identity. He said that the Seminoles used to be known for their speed, athleticism, and swagger, but that they have lost all of those qualities.

"They don't have any heart anymore," Johnson said. "They don't have any pride. They just go out there and play. They don't have any passion for the game."

Johnson said that he believes that FAMU could be a tough opponent for Florida State in the season opener. FAMU is coming off a 9-2 season in which they won the MEAC championship. The Rattlers have a number of talented players, including quarterback Ryan Stanley and wide receiver David Coleman.

"FAMU is a good team," Johnson said. "They're well-coached and they have some talented players. If Florida State doesn't play well, they could lose that game."

Johnson's comments have been met with mixed reactions from Florida State fans. Some fans agree with Johnson's assessment of the team, while others believe that he is being too harsh. However, there is no doubt that Florida State has a lot of work to do if they want to be competitive in the ACC this season.
