**HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 9, 2024) –** The Washington County Highway Department announces an upcoming lane closure at the intersection of Route 64 (Jefferson Boulevard) and Crystal Falls Drive. The closure will begin on Monday, September 16, 2024, and is expected to last for approximately three weeks.
Crystal Falls Drive Lane Closure Announced
The lane closure will allow crews to perform road resurfacing and other improvements at the intersection. During the closure, traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction. Motorists are urged to use caution and expect delays in the area.
The following traffic pattern will be in place during the lane closure:
* Traffic on Crystal Falls Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
* Traffic on Route 64 will be able to turn left, right, or proceed straight.
* No turns will be permitted from Crystal Falls Drive onto Route 64.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic around the closure.
The Highway Department apologizes for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause and thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation.
