Reality TV personality Amy Slaton Halterman of TLC's '1000-lb Sisters' has been arrested on charges of drug possession and child endangerment. Authorities allege that Halterman was found in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl while her 4-year-old son was present.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office in Kentucky, Halterman was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for a traffic violation. Officers allegedly observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and subsequently conducted a search.
During the search, officers allegedly discovered methamphetamine, fentanyl, and a pipe used for smoking meth. Halterman was allegedly in possession of these substances while her 4-year-old son was also present in the vehicle.

Halterman was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, and endangering the welfare of a minor. She was later released on bond.
The arrest and charges against Halterman have shocked her fans and followers. Halterman, who has been open about her struggles with obesity, has been featured on "1000-lb Sisters" since the show's premiere in 2020.
Her arrest has raised concerns about her well-being and the safety of her child. It is unclear at this time whether the charges against Halterman will impact her participation in "1000-lb Sisters."
Halterman's legal team has also not yet released a statement. However, Halterman's husband, Michael Halterman, has expressed his support for his wife on social media.
"I know there's a lot of stuff going on right now, but I want to let everyone know that Amy's doing okay," Michael wrote on Instagram. "She's surrounded by people who love her and are helping her through this."
