Calling all chess enthusiasts! Join the Longmont Public Library for a weekly Teen Chess Club. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting to learn, this club offers a welcoming and supportive environment to hone your skills.

The club meets every Monday evening, providing a dedicated space for teens to play, learn, and socialize. Experienced chess players are on hand to guide beginners and help them develop their strategies.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own chess sets or use the ones provided by the library. Please register in advance to secure your spot.

* Location: Carbon Valley Regional Library, 7 Park Avenue, Firestone, CO 80520

* Age Group: Teens ages 13-18

Calling all teens! The Carbon Valley Regional Library invites you to join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB). This is a unique opportunity to make your voice heard and help shape the future of your library.

TAB members provide valuable input on book selection, programming, and library services that cater to the interests of teens. They also plan and host events, assist with library projects, and advocate for teen-related issues.

By joining TAB, you'll have the chance to develop your leadership skills, connect with other teens, and make a difference in your community.

To be eligible, you must be a teen between the ages of 13 and 18 and reside in the Carbon Valley Regional Library's service area.

Please register in advance to reserve your spot.
